Katrina Czerkies offers comprehensive forensic psychology services, accepting referrals for assessment and intervention from a variety of sources, including courts, legal professionals, mental health networks, policing and security agencies, and correctional services. Individuals are also welcome to self-refer.
You do not need a referral from a doctor to schedule a private intervention session. However, if your General Practitioner or Psychiatrist determines that you have a diagnosable mental disorder and provides a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you may qualify for rebates under the Medicare Better Access scheme. This scheme allows you to claim up to 10 individual mental health services annually, from January 1 to December 31.
The cost for forensic psychology services will depend on the requirements of your referral. Please contact Katrina Czerkies at info@katrinaczerkies.com.au to discuss your referral and to obtain a quote.
Cost will be dependent on the nature of the referral (e.g., full fee paying, subsidised).
